The Market Insights dataset provides a comprehensive view of global education market activity, trends, and intelligence — designed to help you explore developments, and access the latest reports and briefings related to the market.
Platform Basics
Accessing Your Dataset
From the homepage, users will see tiles representing the different datasets available within the platform.
Select Education Market Insights to access your subscribed dataset.
The left-hand navigation menu mirrors the same available content and can also be used to move between sections.
Institutions with access to multiple datasets can switch between them from either the homepage or left-side menu.
Datasets marked with a “Preview” tag are either not included in your subscription or have not yet been released. Clicking these options will provide additional information or a demo request option.
Account & User Management
Access account settings by clicking your account name/logo in the top-left corner of the platform.
Within Manage Users, administrators can:
View all currently provisioned users
Invite new users by entering their email address
Trigger a password activation email for newly added users
Monitor available user seats
Workspaces allow institutions to create separate user groups within one account.
These can be used to manage which users see specific content.
Multiple workspaces can be created depending on team structure or use case.
Market Insights Dataset
Navigating Market Insights
Hover over Market Insights in the left-side menu to view all available features and indexes included in the dataset.
Selecting Market Insights will default to the Insights Feed, which serves as the central hub for newly added content and market updates.
Insights Feed
The Insights Feed highlights the latest content added to the platform, including:
Weekly Education Briefings
Newly published charts and visualizations
Market developments and activities
Reports and intelligence updates from across the education sector
Users can refine the feed by:
Filtering content by category (e.g., Policy, Charts, Briefings, Reports)
Using keyword search to find updates related to:
Specific organizations
Products or market segments
Regions or countries
Topics such as universities or workforce trends
Following topics of interest in the Topics Focus section
This makes it easy to monitor the latest developments relevant to your priorities.
The platform includes a collection of briefings developed by our Intelligence Unit.
Users can use key functionality:
A structured table of contents for easier navigation
Direct links to supporting developments and content within the platform
The ability to email briefings directly from the platform to colleagues, including personalized notes or highlighted sections
Market Maps
Market Maps help users understand the landscape of key players across education markets.
Within Market Maps, users can:
Explore how markets are defined and segmented
Identify major organizations operating in a space
Filter by:
Country of operation
Revenue range (when available)

All reports are available for unlimited download.

The Charts section contains the latest visualizations published to the platform. Filter charts to narrow results or download charts as images for presentations or internal use.
Within Charts, users can:
Browse the latest published visualizations across topics and markets
Use filters to quickly find charts relevant to specific sectors, regions, or themes
Download charts as images for presentations, reports, or internal sharing
Stay up to date with newly published insights as content is regularly refreshed
Frameworks & Taxonomy
The Frameworks section explains how content across the platform is categorized using the education market taxonomy.
The taxonomy is structured into:

AI Assistant (Bottom Right of Platform)
The AI assistant is accessed via the QS logo icon in the bottom-right corner of the platform.
