LITE User Guide

LITE Users are free, view-only Users within your account. They’re designed to give broader colleagues from your organization visibility into platform insights without editing or sharing capabilities.

What Can LITE Users Do?

LITE Users have view-only access across the platform. They can:

  • Log in and explore publicly accessible areas of the platform.

  • View all dashboards created by PRO or ADMIN users in your account.

  • View the Index on Rankings to see how organizations are positioned and categorized.

💡 Tip: LITE access is ideal for team members who need visibility into shared dashboards or organizational insights but don’t need to create or edit data.


What LITE Users Cannot Do

LITE Users have restricted permissions and cannot:

  • Create, edit, or share dashboards, datasets, or widgets.

  • Access Reports within datasets.

  • Manipulate the Index on Rankings (view-only access).

  • Create or edit Market Maps, Briefings, or Developments filters.

  • Export or share content externally from the platform.

  • Access most datasets beyond the dashboards and Rankings Index — these areas will display an option to upgrade or learn more.


Limits and Availability

  • There’s no limit to the number of LITE Users your account can have.

  • LITE Users are free and included with all account types.

  • PRO or Admin Users can manage LITE user invitations and permissions directly from the User Management page.


Upgrading a LITE User

If a LITE User requires the ability to create, edit, or share dashboards and content, they’ll need to be upgraded to a PRO or ADMIN seat.

To upgrade, an ADMIN must :

  1. Go to User Management.

  2. Locate the user.

  3. Select Edit Role → change to PRO or ADMIN
