The MyQS and QS Analytics Home Pages are your personalized entry points into the QS platform, designed to help you quickly access your most relevant products, insights, datasets, and tools. The MyQS Home Page connects you to your QS products, upcoming rankings releases, and events, while the QS Analytics Home Page takes you straight into your datasets and insights.
Navigating MyQS
MyQS is your central point of access for QS products, ranking releases, events, and account management. This section explains how to find your way around the Home page.
Your Home Page
When you sign in, you land on the Home page. The Home icon at the top left of the navigation bar confirms you are in the right place.
QS Products
The left side of the Home page shows a selection of QS products. Select any product to open it directly, including the QS Analytics platform. To see everything available to you, scroll to the bottom of the section and select View all.
QS Rankings and QS Events
The middle column tracks upcoming QS rankings releases, so you can plan around publication dates. The right column lists upcoming QS events.
Top Right Toolbar
The top right of the screen gives you quick access to four options:
Help (question mark in a circle): Opens a new tab where you can submit a ticket for review by QS.
Apps (four squares): Shows the apps available to you. This matches the product list on the Home page but is accessible from any screen.
Account switcher: to navigate between accounts.
Your profile (under your initial or profile picture): Opens a menu where you can edit your profile, change your account settings, or turn dark mode on or off.
Account switching
The Account switcher is located on the top right of the page, next to your profile. It allows you to switch between the accounts you are a part of.
The types of data you can access depends on the account you are in.
Example:
to access the Ranking Preview (Factfiles), you need to be in the Rankings account, which is marked with the yellow Ranking Master label
to access QS Analytics, you need to be in the account that is not linked to the Ranking Preview
Left Navigation Bar
The left navigation bar holds your account and profile settings:
Profile: Edit your profile details.
Security and sign-in: Manage your sign-in and security options.
Data and privacy: Review data and privacy information.
The sections on Subscriptions, People and Compliance are only visible if you are an Admin
Subscriptions: See the services you or your university are currently subscribed to.
People: See who has access to the account you are currently working in.
Accounts: View your accounts. You can also reach this from the account switcher.
Compliance: View compliance information.
Collapsing the Navigation Bar
To free up screen space, select the button at the top left of the page to collapse the left navigation bar. Select it again to expand it.
Navigating QS Analytics
From the MyQS homepage, please click on QS Analytics in the QS Products section to access your datasets.
👋 Personalize Your Experience
At the top of your Home Page, you'll see a greeting like "Good afternoon, [email protected]."
You can customize how HolonIQ refers to you by updating your display name in your account settings or by simply clicking into your email/name at the top of the page. Whether you prefer your full name, a nickname, or your role title - this small tweak helps personalize your workspace experience.
🔁 Recently Visited
At the top of your screen, you'll find the Recently Visited section:
This area displays your most recently accessed institutions, peer lists, dashboards, or tools, allowing you to jump back into your work with a single click.
Each item shows how recently it was accessed, so you can easily pick up where you left off.
🏛 Institutional Performance
Get a comprehensive view of institutional benchmarking and performance analytics, including:
Executive Overview – Institution-specific performance summaries
World University Rankings – Global ranking results
Academic & Employer Reputation – Perception-based performance indicators
Subject, Regional, and Sustainability Rankings – Targeted insights into focus areas
MBA Rankings – Dedicated view of business school performance
Use these Datasets to compare institutions, identify trends, and understand ranking methodologies. If your account is linked to a specific institution, these tiles will serve as shortcuts to your institution’s detailed performance analysis.

Some tiles on your Home Page may be labeled “Preview.”
This means that your account doesn’t currently have an active subscription to that product or module. It could also the Dataset is going through an update or is awaiting release.
