Managing Multiple Accounts

How to Switch Between Accounts in MyQS and the HolonIQ by QS Platforms

Overview

Following the recent relaunch of MyQS as the access portal to multiple products, if you are also a contact for our Rankings team, you may now see more than one account when you log into MyQS and QS HolonIQ: an account that holds your QS Rankings Preview (Factfiles) access, and a separate account in which you can access your paid Analytics subscriptions.

In rare cases (for example, if you work with multiple institutions or organisations), you may have access to more than one Account that has paid Analytics subscriptions.
The default account that will be displayed when you log into MyQS will be the Rankings linked account, so you will need to switch to the Analytics linked account.

If you have more than one Account, you can switch between them directly within the QS HolonIQ platform, as well as from the MyQS home page.

How to Switch Accounts

I. In the QS HolonIQ platform

  1. Click on your institution’s logo in the top navigation bar.

  2. In the menu that appears, look for the section labelled “Account”.

  3. Click on your institution’s logo again under the “Account” section.

  4. Select another account from the list (it might have the same name).

Note - once new Accounts is selected, the platform should automatically refresh. However, you may need to manually refresh your browser tab/window for the platform to refresh.

Account vs Workspace

Switching Accounts is not the same as switching Workspaces.

Workspaces exist within an Account. They are used to separate teams, projects, or access levels inside the same organisation.

II. From MyQS

1. Open your profile menu

Go to the top-right corner of the page.

  • Click your profile picture or initials.

  • If you have more than one account, you’ll see a small arrow that opens your account list.

2. Identify your Rankings linked and Analytics linked accounts

  • The account with a rankings label next to the university name is the account used for fact files and other rankings-related information

  • The account without the rankings label is the one that holds the Analytics paid subscriptions

  • Click on the relevant account

3. Access your Analytics data

  • Click on the Analytics linked account (the QS Rankings Preview app will be inactive)

  • Click on QS Analytics

3. Access your QS Rankings Fact Files

  • Navigate to the Rankings linked account (the QS Rankings Preview app will be active)

  • Click on QS Rankings Preview (Factfiles)

Troubleshooting

I only see one Account

If you only see one Account listed, you currently only have access to a single Account. No action is needed.

I think I should have access to another Account

If you believe you should be able to access an additional Account, please contact your Admin or write to our QS AI Assistant for support.

All the datasets included in my paid subscription have a preview label and ask me to subscribe

Please switch to the Analytics linked account
