Managing Multiple Accounts

How to Switch Between Accounts in the HolonIQ by QS Platform

Overview

Most users only have access to a single organizational (university) account in the HolonIQ by QS platform.

However, in rare cases, you may have access to more than one Account (for example, if you work with multiple institutions or organisations).

If you have more than one Account, you can switch between them directly within the platform.


How to Switch Accounts

  1. Click on your institution’s logo in the top navigation bar.

  2. In the menu that appears, look for the section labelled “Account”.

  3. Click on your institution’s logo again under the “Account” section.

  4. Select the account you want to switch to from the list.

Note - once new Accounts is selected, the platform should automatically refresh. However, you may need to manually refresh your browser tab/window for the platform to refresh.


Important: Account vs Workspace

Switching Accounts is not the same as switching Workspaces.

Accounts

An Account represents an organisation or institution. If you have multiple Accounts, you are essentially switching between different organisations.

Workspaces

Workspaces exist within an Account. They are used to separate teams, projects, or access levels inside the same organisation.

Changing your Workspace does not change your Account. However changing your Account may change which Workspaces are available to you.


Troubleshooting

I only see one Account

If you only see one Account listed, you currently only have access to a single Account. No action is needed.

I think I should have access to another Account

If you believe you should be able to access an additional Account, please contact your Admin or write to our QS AI Assistant for support.
