How do I get an Overview of Academic Reputation?

View and compare Academic Reputation rankings by index or highlighting your institution.

Open the "Academic Reputation" Dataset

Navigate to the Academic Reputation Dataset from the left-hand menu and select:


Viewing the Index Report

The Dataset is defaulted to open in the Index Report, which will display in the main content area on your page:

*Note that this Index Report is specific to all universities specific to this Academic Reputation Indicator.


Refining your Index Report: Toggles & Controls

You can further modify your Index Report by using the following toggles & controls:

  1. Benchmark Peers - changing between your Master Peer List, by Region, by Country, or by a QS List of Peers

  2. Benchmark Period - changing between 1, 3, 5, 10 years or Max

  3. Values - changing between Rank, Percentile and Score


Viewing the Highlights Report for Academic Reputation

In addition to the Index Report, you can also view Academic Reputation through the lens of a Focus-Institution - be that your own university, or one from your Master Peer List.

Click on the "Highlights" button on the Reports horizontal bar (see screenshot below):


Changing Focus-Institution

Whether in the Index or Highlights report, you can change which institution Focus-Institution you are viewing by simply changing using the Focus-Institution drop-down list:

The list available from this Focus-Institution dropdown list is derived from your Master Peer List.
