Getting Started with Dropdowns
Navigate to the Dataset Dropdown:
Located at the top of your interface, this dropdown allows you to choose from various datasets available under your subscription. For instance, we are currently selecting the World University Rankings.
Selection of a Focus Institution:
Adjacent to the dataset dropdown is the focus institution selection. By default, it might show an institution or an overview. You can change it by selecting another institution.
Benchmark Peers and Period
Benchmark Peers Dropdown:
Use this dropdown to select your Benchmark Peers. Options include selecting your Master Peer List, Custom Peer List, QS Lists, Regions, Sub-Regions, or Countries.
Benchmark Period Dropdown:
Next to the benchmark peers selection is the period drop-down. Choose from options like the last year, three years, five years, ten years, or maximize the period for a comprehensive overview.
Value Buttons (Rank, Percentile, Score)
Rank: Displays the institution’s rank position for the selected year.
Percentile: Indicates the institution’s percentile position within the selected comparison set, providing clearer relative insight.
Score: Presents the institution’s numeric score.
Grouping By (Rank, Change)
Grouping buttons allow you or other available groupings so you can view aggregated sections.
Using the grouping between “rank” to group results by rank bands (e.g., 1–100, 101–200) and “change” to group results by the changes (increase/decrease change value)
