How do I Export or Download Rankings & Reputation data from the Platform?

The QS Analytics Platform offers different options for exporting and downloading Rankings & Reputation data, depending on the type of dataset subscription and data license your account has.

1. Partial Exports/ Downloads

With any Rankings & Reputation Dataset, you can explore dashboards, reports, peer sets, and indicators directly in the platform and export what you see on screen.

This includes :

  • copying tables to clipboard,

  • downloading heatmaps as CSV files

  • exporting dashboards and reports as visuals (PDF, JPG, PNG)

These exports are limited to the specific view or chart you’re working with.

2. Full Data Download

With the Download License (add-on), you gain the ability to export the full datasets in CSV format for your own institution as well as the institutions in your Master Peer List. This gives your institution the flexibility to integrate Rankings & Reputation data with your own internal systems, combine it with institutional data, or run deeper offline analysis in BI tools and data warehouses.

Accessing the Download Feature

Download options are typically available via the download button in the top-right corner of relevant dashboards or reports. What you see available will depend on your license.

1. Navigate to a dataset on the platform (World University Ranking, Academic or Employer datasets).

2. Check if your subscription includes download privileges.

  • If eligible, the Download button will be active at the top right of your screen.
